In order to store sensitive biological products for a long time, cryogenic Dewar bottle is a system that provides a stable low temperature environment to maintain the life of fragile cells. Cryogenic Dewar is a kind of non pressure vessel, specially designed and manufactured, which can withstand the cryogenic materials related to liquid nitrogen. Liquid nitrogen is odorless, colorless, tasteless, and non irritating; therefore, it has no warning properties and needs to be handled with care. At the low temperature of – 196 ℃, liquid nitrogen is considered to be a cryogenic liquid, which can be used to store life limited organisms.

because of the existence of liquid nitrogen, cryopreservation is possible. Through long-term preservation of stem cells, tissues and other samples in cryogenic Dewar bottles, medical procedures and research can be further developed.

the following are five steps to protect the cryogenic dewar and its contents:

1. Use reliable temperature monitoring system. In order to prevent any biochemical reactions that may cause cell degradation, most sensitive biological products should be kept at very low temperatures in cryogenic dewars. 2.Lower storage temperature (e.g. – 196? C) can keep life limited organisms alive. The effective way to ensure the safety of low temperature Dewar contents and keep low temperature is to implement a reliable liquid nitrogen temperature monitoring system.
3..Keep the low temperature Dewar upright at all times. Cryogenic dewars should be kept upright at all times to ensure safe storage. Dumping the dewar or placing it on its side may cause liquid nitrogen to overflow. Damage to the dewar or any material stored in it may also occur.
4..No rough handling. Rough handling can cause serious damage to the internal cryogenic Dewar bottles and contents. Drop the Dewar bottle, turn it over on its side, and suffer severe impact and vibration, which may lead to partial or complete loss of vacuum. The vacuum insulation system reduces the heat transfer load of cryogenic liquid and keeps the dewar at low temperature all the time. Stable low temperature can meet the vitality of low temperature demand.
5..Keep the device clean and dry. The device should be placed in a clean and dry place. Moisture, chemicals, strong cleaners and other substances promote corrosion and should be removed immediately. Simply clean the cryogenic Dewar bottle with water or mild detergent and dry thoroughly to prevent corrosion of the metal shell. Damage to the material used to make the dewar can put the stored object at risk.
Keep enough ventilation. The inlet of any cryogenic Dewar should not be covered or blocked to avoid interference with the gas emission. Dewars are not pressurized, so inadequate ventilation can result in excessive gas pressure. This may cause the Dewar bottle to burst and become a potential safety hazard for personnel and stored organisms.
